KRITASH IIT Jammu in collaboration with Helpline Humanity NGO helps the students from Kashmiri migrant families in Jagti Township by organizing regular classes and counselling sessions.

In the initial discussions with the NGO, we found that children of this region were facing difficulties related academics and careers. So, with our motto of spreading the education we started helping them to bring change in the life of the students by giving them what knowledge we have and helping them to make a clear path of their career.

We also help them to make their library functional for the students of jagti township where NGO provides free book service to all standards from 5-12th class.

During the pandemic, it seemed difficult to continue but the spirit of “Akasharsala” volunteers never went down. We have now started online sessions with the students to help and guide them in their education.
