On 20th December IIT Jammu donated 300 clothes to the construction workers who are building the college to keep them this freezing winter under the ‘Joy of Giving Week’. Both students and faculties donated their clothes enthusiastically. On the day, the Kritash team and some volunteers donated clothes by their hands to the workers.
Cloth donation had started in the month of November both students and faculties donated their clothes. After that, a group of students including both Kritash members and non-Kritash members came forward and sorted and packed the clothes into piles of Shirts, T-Shirts, Lowers, and other clothes. Later, the clothes were segregated. Then on 20th December, the clothes were finally donated to the workers. It was worth seeing the smile on the faces who received those clothes and there is no joy greater than spreading the joy.
